Skill Up is a programme of eight free specialist skills courses running from ACAVA Maxilla Men’s Shed in Ladbroke Grove, where participants are invited to join in and learn a range of techniques from silverwork to printmaking. I ran a backstrap-weaving workshop, where participants learnt to warp their looms, and weave their own sampler tapestries.
