Textile Commissions
I offer bespoke commissions in both Hand Weaving and Quilting. Each piece is crafted with care, and pricing reflects the time and skill involved.
How It Works:
Get in Touch – Let me know the type of piece you want, the size, colour palette, and any design inspirations.
Quote & Deposit – After discussing your project, I’ll provide a price estimate and timeline. A 50% deposit will be required to begin.
Design & Approval – You will then receive design options for final sign-off.
Making & Updates – I will share updates as your piece comes to life. Weaving and Quilting are both slow crafts, so larger pieces require significant time.
Final Payment & Delivery – Once complete, the remaining balance is due before shipping or collection.
Workshop Facilitation
I offer a range of textile workshops, both private and public, in weaving, quilting, embroidery, and repair. These can be tailored for private groups, community organisations, or team-building days. Please get in-touch or download the info pack for more information. I am always happy to discuss your workshop ideas.
I also offer 1-2-1 classes in tapestry weaving and loom setup in my studio. Whether you're looking to set up your own loom, learn new skills on a frame loom, or take a weekend course on my Dryad upright floor tapestry loom, I can guide you through every step.
See the Workshops page, for more information on current classes and courses, and follow me on Instagram for updates.
Textile Community Projects and Collaborations
I love hosting community-based textile projects designed to bring people together through craft. Whether it’s a communal weaving project, quilting workshop, or collaborative embroidery, I create opportunities for participants to connect, learn, and express themselves through making.
I am always open to new collaborations, whether you are a local organisation, artist, or community group looking to engage with textiles. If you have a project in mind, I’d love to hear from you!
Together, we can create meaningful experiences that celebrate creativity and community. Please get in touch to discuss your ideas and how we can work together to bring them to life.
Textile Repair, Consultation and Conservation
I offer a range of Textile Repair, Consultation, and Conservation services, from visible mending of clothes to the preservation and repair of vintage rugs and tapestries.
Whether you're looking to restore a cherished item or extend the life of a beloved piece, I can help. I work with both personal and heirloom textiles, ensuring they are treated with the care and expertise they deserve.
If you have a project in mind, get in touch, and we can discuss the best approach for your needs, from repair to long-term storage solutions.
Loom Room
Loom Room is a collaborative project with carpenter Chris Gabe - a flat-packed, pop-up weaving space where the walls become tapestry looms. Designed for communal making, the Loom Room accommodates up to 10 looms and has been taken to festivals and events across the UK, including Glastonbury Festival. See more here.
Prioritising accessibility and shared experiences, the project invites participants to engage at their own pace, contributing to the ever-growing tapestry walls. It also includes indoor space for more intimate workshops, but the heart of the project lies in its open, interactive nature, fostering a collective weaving experience that brings people together through craft.
If you would like to hire the Loom Room for an event, please get in touch for more information.
