Bowes in Hand, The Bowes Museum
Over the course of a year as an artist in residence at The Bowes Museum, I led communal weaving workshops that traveled between the museum, local farm shows and other local events, across County Durham.
Working on the same frame loom at each location, participants collectively wove a tapestry inspired by the landscapes of the North Pennines and Yorkshire Moors. This evolving piece became a shared record of many hands, stories, and perspectives, reflecting the deep connections between craft, place, and community.
