Loom Room
Loom Room is a collaborative project with carpenter Chris Gabe - a flat-packed, pop-up weaving space where the walls become tapestry looms. Designed for communal making, the Loom Room accommodates up to 10 looms and has been taken to festivals and events across the UK, including Glastonbury Festival.
Prioritising accessibility and shared experiences, the project invites participants to engage at their own pace, contributing to the ever-growing tapestry walls. It also includes indoor space for more intimate workshops, but the heart of the project lies in its open, interactive nature, fostering a collective weaving experience that brings people together through craft.
